Cassidy Newfield

Associate

Cassidy maintains a general civil litigation practice, working with a broad range of clients to resolve various individual, commercial, and employment-related disputes.

Cassidy is focused on reaching practical and cost-efficient outcomes for her clients through negotiation and alternative dispute resolution. However, where out-of-court resolution is not possible, she is an effective advocate in the courtroom, and has successfully appeared before the Alberta Court of Justice and Alberta Court of King’s Bench in various application and trial settings.

Throughout law school, Cassidy served as the Vice President of Administration for the Society of Law Students and volunteered as a Caseworker for Student Legal Assistance, helping low-income clients with various family, civil, and criminal law matters. In her free time, Cassidy teaches fitness classes, and enjoys hiking, biking, and skiing in the mountains.
