Kane joined DBB as an associate in 2023 and practices in the area of family law.
Kane completed his Juris Doctor with Great Distinction from the University of Saskatchewan in 2022. During his time in law school, Kane was a student editor for the Saskatchewan Law Review, served a term as both the VP Student Wellness and the VP Administration for the Law Students’ Association, and competed in the 2022 National Family Law Negotiation Competition, where he placed 1st overall individually. Kane was awarded the Law Society of Saskatchewan Bronze Medal for his year.
Prior to articling, Kane competed on the reality TV show Survivor, becoming the first ever Western Canadian to play. Afterwards, he articled with a Saskatchewan firm and was called to the Saskatchewan Bar in 2023.

As a skilled ADR practitioner, Kane understands the impact parenting conflict and family violence can have on children and their development. As a result, he can also assist parties to meet the court-required ADR which must be completed before their family matter may proceed to Court.
