Erika was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. She obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Haskayne School of Business and worked in diverse fields such as public affairs and accounting before moving to Northern Ireland where she attended law school at Queen’s University Belfast. While at law school, Erika was a Women in Law committee member and hosted events connecting young prospective lawyers to leading legal female figures. Upon graduating, Erika continued to live in Belfast and worked at a large global capital markets consultancy firm specializing in client lifecycle management.
Erika moved back to Calgary in 2023 and completed her NCA equivalency exams while working as a legal assistant for Wendy Best, KC at the firm.
In her free time, Erika enjoys riding her horse Sequoya, travelling to Croatia and listening to modern day history podcasts.
