Zac joined DBB Law as an articling student in 2021. He received his Bachelor of Arts from McGill University in 2016 and his Juris Doctor from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia in 2021.

Zac’s practice is predominantly in family law. He developed a keen interest in the area at law school, including spending a semester working as a Student Clinician at the Rise Women’s Legal Centre in downtown Vancouver, delivering legal assistance to low-income women in the areas of family and immigration law.

Since being called to Alberta Bar in 2022, Zac has successfully advocated for clients at the Alberta Court of King’s Bench and appeared before the Alberta Court of Appeal.

Zac loves to be outside. Through his undergraduate and law degrees, he spent his summers working as a tree planter in the forests of northern Alberta. These days Zac spends his time outside hiking, skiing or on his bike.
